Day 1 – Welcome to Phnom Penh

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, your professional local guide will warmly welcome you before beginning your city sightseeing experience.

Your first stop is the iconic Wat Phnom, a beautiful 15th-century temple built on the city’s only natural hill and considered the birthplace of Phnom Penh. Continue to the elegant Independence Monument, constructed in 1958 to commemorate Cambodia’s independence from French colonial rule, and admire the nearby King Norodom Sihanouk Memorial, dedicated to Cambodia’s beloved former monarch.

Drive through the city’s historic center while passing the monuments of Samdech Choun Nath, the father of the Khmer dictionary, and Preah Phirum Master Ou, one of Cambodia’s most celebrated poets and literary figures.

Day 2 – Oudong Mountain & Cultural Heritage

After breakfast, leave the capital behind for a scenic drive to Oudong Mountain, located approximately 45 minutes northwest of Phnom Penh.

Once the royal capital of Cambodia from 1618 to 1866, Oudong is home to magnificent hilltop stupas, ancient temples, and panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Climb to the summit to explore sacred shrines, including the impressive 2002 stupa, which houses revered Buddha relics brought from Sri Lanka.

At the foot of the mountain, browse local food stalls offering authentic Cambodian snacks and regional specialties before returning to Phnom Penh.

Day 3 – Phnom Penh City Exploration
