Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang – Pac Sum Pass – Quan Ba – Lung Tam – Yen Minh – Hmong King Palace – Dong Van
Your private Ha Giang adventure begins with a morning departure from Hanoi.
Travel by private vehicle toward Ha Giang, enjoying the changing scenery as the countryside gradually gives way to mountains and limestone landscapes.
Upon arrival in Ha Giang, meet your Vietnamese women-led tour team and continue into the mountains by private open-air Jeep.
The first mountain section takes you toward Pac Sum Pass. Stop at a scenic viewpoint to enjoy the fresh mountain air and panoramic views over the surrounding valleys.
Continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate, one of the most impressive viewpoints on the Ha Giang Loop. From here, look across steep mountain slopes, deep valleys and dramatic limestone formations stretching into the distance.
Continue down into the valley and travel toward Lung Tam, a traditional Hmong community surrounded by mountains and terraced fields. This quieter area offers an opportunity to see local village life and learn about traditional culture and handicrafts.
Enjoy lunch in the mountain region before continuing through Yen Minh toward the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
In the afternoon, the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic, with towering limestone peaks, winding roads, terraced fields and traditional mountain villages.
Visit the historic Hmong King Palace in Sa Phin, also known as the Vuong family residence. The palace provides an insight into the history, architecture and culture of the Hmong people in northern Vietnam.
Continue to Dong Van Town and check into your private accommodation.
After dinner, enjoy some free time to explore Dong Van’s peaceful old town, walk through the local streets or relax at your accommodation.

Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River – Meo Vac – Yen Minh – Quan Ba – Ha Giang – Hanoi
After breakfast, continue your journey along the famous Happiness Road toward Ma Pi Leng Pass.
This is one of the most spectacular sections of the Ha Giang Loop. The road climbs between enormous limestone cliffs, with deep valleys and the Nho Que River far below.
Travel by open-air Jeep and enjoy uninterrupted views of the mountains. Stop at carefully selected viewpoints to photograph the dramatic landscape and the famous winding road.
Continue toward Meo Vac before beginning the return journey through another beautiful section of the Ha Giang mountains.
After lunch, travel through Yen Minh and the surrounding valleys. The landscape changes continuously, with limestone peaks, terraced fields, forests and traditional villages appearing along the route.
Continue through Quan Ba and return to Ha Giang City.
From Ha Giang, relax in your private vehicle for the journey back to Hanoi. Watch the mountain landscape gradually change as you leave the highlands behind.
Arrive in Hanoi in the evening, completing your private 2-day Ha Giang Jeep adventure.

This journey involves long-distance travel between Hanoi and Ha Giang as well as several hours of mountain road travel. Travelers should be comfortable with winding roads.
We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, a light jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses and suitable walking shoes.
Weather in the mountains can change quickly, so a light rain jacket is also recommended.
